PURPOSE: A jagging detection method and a three-dimensional image display device using the same are provided to detect a jagging area from a generated pixel map by detecting a predetermined black tone area from brightness and chrominance information extracted from inputted image data. CONSTITUTION: A brightness and chrominance information extraction unit extracts brightness and chrominance information from three-dimensional data inputted in a three-dimensional mode(S101,S103). A brightness and chrominance information analysis unit generates a pixel map by detecting a predetermined black tone area from the extracted brightness and chrominance information(S104). A jagging detection unit detects a jagging area by shifting a PxQ mask to the generated pixel map(S105). A jagging improvement unit improves the detected jagging area.
