PURPOSE: A method for maintaining a hierarchical cluster structure is provide to increase an operation time of a node and a moving ad-hoc network by replacing a group header node of a hierarchical layer, regenerating and adding hierarchical members, and detecting and managing a left node by considering a residual quantity of a battery and a TI time. CONSTITUTION: If a residual quantity of a battery of a group header node is same as a threshold value or less than the same, the group header node is replaced with another member node in the same hierarchy(S210). If the residual quantity of the battery is less than an energy level of an affiliated group, a group member to be transferred to a lower energy level group is regenerated and added(S220). A node, which cannot perform a role of the member node due to the movement of the member node, battery consumption, and a functional problem, is deleted from the group(S230).
