PURPOSE: A portable terminal for location tracking, a location tracking service providing device thereof, and a location tracking system thereof are provided to perform indoor and outdoor real time location tracking by using a portable terminal including a GPS(Global Positioning System) module and a Wi-Fi module. CONSTITUTION: A GPS module(302) receives satellite location information. A Wi-Fi module(301) scans surrounding APs(Access Point). The Wi-Fi module receives network identification information from one or more APs. If a location state of a portable terminal is indoor based on the network identification information and receiving signal strength information of the APs, the portable terminal transmits the network identification information and the receiving signal strength information to a server. If the location state is outdoor, the portable terminal transmits the satellite location information to the server.
