PURPOSE: A sewing machine including a safety cover is provided to protect the left and right sides of an operator by being fixed to an arm unit of an arm type sewing machine. CONSTITUTION: A sewing machine including a safety cover comprises a head unit(100), a bed unit(300), and a driving motor. The head unit includes a head unit rotating unit rotating a sewing head with a sewing needle which moves upward and downward within the predetermined range. The safety cover(600) protects an operator from safety accidents during the sewing operation. The cover is installed on the left and right sides of the head unit, and the front side of the sewing machine is opened. The head unit is installed on an arm unit(201) of the sewing machine.
