The present invention refers to a process for producing metallic pieces by casting and pouring metal into hollow moulds, which is characterised in that it comprises the following steps: a) forming a positive mould or cavity of a predetermined shape made of any material; b) superimposing a metallic mask partially separated from the model on the mould, which separation be equal to the desired thickness of the ceramic; c) pouring the filling ceramic material between said mould and said mask; d) cooling the mask at a temperature under 0°C using any means or cooling system for freezing the ceramic and then removing the refractory ceramic moulded shape from the mould and mask; e) drying the refractory ceramic moulded shape at room temperature for hardening purposes; f) joining two hardened moulded shapes of refractory ceramic, using ceramic with colloidal silica for defining a refractory ceramic mould; g) filling the ceramic mould with casted metal for forming the desired figure; h) leaving the mould aside until the metal becomes solid and removing the mould using compressed air, mould release templates and /or extracting pins for obtaining a positive piece of metal faithful to the mould shape.
