PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION HAVING ANTICANCER AND ANTIOXIDANT COMPRISING SOYBEAN ACETONE EXTRACTS

PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical composition containing a soybean acetone extract is provided to verify suppression effect of cancer cell proliferation and to identify a novel physiologically active function of soybeans. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition with anticancer and antioxidation activities contains 0.01-80 wt% of a soybean acetone extract as an active ingredient. The soybean acetone extract contains one or more selected from chlorophylls, lutein, and a mixture thereof. The chlorophylls include chlorophyll a or chlorophyll b. The soybean acetone extract is prepared from soybeans, geminated beans, or bean sprout.
