PURPOSE: A foothold for a wheelchair having a fixing function and a height adjusting function is provided to enable users to adjust the height of the foothold using a pressing ball. CONSTITUTION: A foothold for a wheelchair having a fixing function and a height adjusting function includes a first frame(110) and a second frame(120). The first frame is produced with a metallic material including stainless steel for preventing the foothold from the corrosion or the destruction. The first frame includes a mounting unit with a pressing ball moving up and down by the elasticity restoring force of an elastomer on one side. The other side of the first frame is combined to the second frame for forming a height adjusting unit having plural height adjusting holes. A stopper is installed on the center of the first frame for firmly fixing the foothold to the wheelchair. |
