PURPOSE: A motor and a washing machine including the same are provided to prevent a rotor from being damaged in a high speed rotation and to improve the durability of the motor by reinforcing the structural intensity of the rotor. CONSTITUTION: A rotor includes a permanent magnet(320), a sleeve(330), a plurality of rotor cores(340), a plurality of bridges(360), and a plurality of support protrusions(380). The plurality of rotor cores are arranged in a circumference direction of the rotor. The plurality of bridges connect the sleeve to each rotor core. The plurality of permanent magnets are separated from the sleeve to form an inner space(370). A plurality of support protrusions protrude to the outside of a radius direction from the sleeve to correspond to each permanent magnet.
