PORTABLE ULTRASONIC PARTIAL DISCHARGE MEASUREMENT DEVICE HAVING CCD CAMERA USING GPS, AND PARTIAL DISCHARGE MEASUREMENT METHOD USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A portable ultrasonic partial discharge measuring device with an image recording unit using a GPS(Global Positioning System) function, and a measuring method thereof are provided to measure partial discharges at the same position by deciding the position of partial discharge measurement. CONSTITUTION: A CCD(Charge-Coupled Device) camera(12) is mounted on the front of a body part(10) and measures a measurement object and the location of partial discharge generation. An ultrasonic amplifier(13) amplifies the signals of an ultrasonic sensor. An audible frequency conversion device(14) converts the signals amplified at the ultrasonic amplifier into audible frequencies. An acoustic signal quantization digital processing device(15) converts acoustic signals into waveforms and numerical values representing the size of ultrasonic waves. An image signal processing device(16) converts the images recorded at the CCD camera into image data signals. A signal processing control device(19) receives ultrasonic measurement data from the acoustic signal quantization digital processing device and image data signals from the image signal processing device, stores the received data at a data storage device, and displays the received data on a display device(18) as waveforms and numerical values. A GPS antenna(21) is mounted on the top surface of the body part and receives signals from GPS satellites. A GPS processing device(22) amplifies and processes the signals of the GPS antenna.
