PURPOSE: A basket for pressing and spinning food waste is provided to maintain a clean kitchen environment by removing moisture contain in food waste by pressing an spinning. CONSTITUTION: A basket for pressing and spinning food waste comprises a lid, a pressing/spinning unit, a saw-wheel bolt, a pressing packing, and draining holes. The lid is formed on the upper part of the basket, thereby pressing food waste after putting food waste. The pressing/spinning unit removes moisture of the food waste by compressing the food waste. The moisture flown out from the food waste is drained through the draining holes.
