摘要 PURPOSE: An object detection apparatus and a method of a panoramic image using a GPU is provided to reduce calculation time of the optical flow by calculating an optical flow for the panoramic image through the GPU. CONSTITUTION: An optical flow calculation unit(210) classifies a panoramic image into a plurality of blocks. The optical flow calculation unit calculates an optical flow about the panoramic image by block. A parallax flow calculation unit(230) calculates a parallax flow. Based on the parallax flow, a candidate region determination unit(250) determines an object candidate region for the panoramic image. Based on the parallax flow of the object candidate region, an object detection unit(270) detects an object from the object candidate region.
