The turbine has a rotary unit including a hub rotating around an axis, and a blade (5) mounted on the hub. An anti-icing device prevents formation of white frost on the blade. The anti-icing device comprises an electrical heating device (10) placed on the blade. A part of an external surface (5a) of the blade is covered with a hydrophobic material protective layer (11) thermically coupled with the heating device. The heating device comprises a layer of an electrically conducting material i.e. conductive paint, arranged on the external surface of the blade. The electrical heating device is in the form of a flat plate. The hydrophobic material is hydrophobic paint. An independent claim is also included for a method for preventing formation of white frost on the blade. |
