The device (10) has a container (14) containing a cosmetic product (12). A distribution channel (50) distributes the cosmetic product out of the container. An obturator (90) is provided on the channel. The obturator is moved between an obturation position and a release position by applying fluid under pressure outside the container. A surface of an actuation unit is removably joined with the obturator. A fluid tank (150) is located outside the container. A control unit (152) controls maintenance of the fluid under pressure in the tank. An elastic body (92) is provided on the obturator. An independent claim is also included for a method for distributing of a cosmetic product.
