PURPOSE: An antifoulant and an antiouling agent with hexadesile methacrylate are provided to be enviromentally friendly containing no marine contaminant like organic tin or cuprous oxide compound as antifoulant paint for maine purpose such as fishing net, ship or off-shore structure. CONSTITUTION: An antifoulant with hexadecyl methacrylate has a hexadecyl methacrylate marked with chemical formula 1 as an active component. An antifoulating paint composition includes the hexadecyl methacrylate marked with chemical formula 1 as an antifoulant when it comes to the antifoulating paint component with resin, solvent, pigment and antifoluant. The antifoulating paint composition additionally includes the additives. The resin contents of antifoulating paint composition are10-20 wt%. The solvent contents of antifoulating paint composition are 30-40 wt%. The pigment contents of antifoulating paint composition are 40-50 wt%. The antifolant contents of antifoulating paint composition are 1-10 wt%. The additive contents of antifoulating paint composition are 0.7-1 wt%.
