PURPOSE: A mission EXECUTION service system using a short message and a method thereof are provided to execute a mission according to a series of processes which is established through a short message, thereby extending the availability of a mobile oriented(MO) service. CONSTITUTION: A MO processing unit(230) transmits missions for each level to a corresponding user terminal. The MO processing unit receives a result from the user terminal. A mission management unit(250) manages mission progress of the user terminal following the beginning of a mission. The mission management unit processes the next level according to the mission progress. A mission evaluation unit(240) evaluates the mission execution result.
