The engine has a blade for compressing gas mixture in an input of a combustion engine. A turbine mechanically drives a compressor (3). A charge air cooler (4) is positioned between the compressor and a manifold intake (5) of the engine. A pipe (2) is mounted at an outlet of the cooler, where a parameter value of the pipe is determined based on an analysis of a simple system represented by the cooler coupled to a Helmholtz resonator using a specific formula contains parameters such as velocity of a compressor blade, angular frequency of the Helmholtz resonator and length of the pipe.
