<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an elevator high in energy saving effect by controlling a car lighting to suppress wasteful power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: The elevator is provided which includes an elevator car chamber 1 having a lighting section 5, a luminaire 7 provided in the elevator car chamber 1, an illumination gage 8 installed on a floor 3 in the elevator car chamber 1 or around an operation panel, a timer function, and a luminaire drive circuit 12 that automatically suspends the luminaire 7 if the elevator car chamber 1 is not operated for a certain period of time where the illumination gage 8 measures illumination in the elevator car chamber if the luminaire 7 is suspended by the timer function and the luminaire is not lit if certain illumination may be secured. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
