<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make respective organic EL elements for emitting light of different colors efficiently emit light in a display device including a light-emitting layer formed in common for the organic EL elements, without providing a charge-blocking layer between light-emitting layers. <P>SOLUTION: A first light-emitting layer 13G of a first organic EL element 3G is formed in common for a second organic EL element 3R. A second light-emitting layer 13R of the second organic EL element 3R is arranged on the cathode 15 side so as to be in contact with the first light-emitting layer 13G.
