PROGRAM, INFORMATION PROCESSING UNIT, AND MESH CORRECTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely delete a poor-quality element.

SOLUTION: Mesh data 1a indicating meshes which divide an analysis object into a plurality of elements by a plurality of line segments each connecting nodal points arranged within the analysis object are stored in storage means 1. Detection means 2 refers to the storage means 1 to determine quality of each of the elements surrounded by the line segments connecting the nodal points and detects elements having quality which is not larger than a predetermined value. Calculation means 3 calculates a position of a specific point within each of the detected elements on the basis of positions of the nodal points representing the shape of the detected element. Changing means 4 changes positions of a plurality of nodal points among the nodal points representing the shape of the detected element in the mesh data 1a of the storage means 1 into the position of the specific point.
