<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clean room having high flexibility of layout design, capable of being installed even when ceiling height is low, preventing dust from accumulating on a ceiling surface, and allowing reduction of cost. <P>SOLUTION: This clean room 2 includes: upward air cleaning devices 11-14 sucking and cleaning air in an indoor lower part, and blowing off the air upward indoors; and downward air cleaning devices 21-24 sucking and cleaning air in an indoor upper part, and blowing off the air downward indoors. Each of the upward air cleaning devices 11-14 is disposed with an air cleaning device 40 with a blowoff port 42 turned upward, and each of the downward air cleaning devices 21-24 is disposed with the air cleaning device 40 with the blowoff port 42 turned downward.
