<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seismic isolation structure of which the variation in the seismic isolation performance caused by temperature change is suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: In accordance with an increase in a temperature, the horizontal rigidity of rubber plates 18 constituting laminated rubber 12 decreases. Meanwhile, columns 26 are housed in housing parts 23 formed at flanges 14, 16 arranged at both ends of the laminated rubber 12 and seal water. In accordance with the increase in the temperature, water expands to push up the columns 26, and hollow parts 22 are moved upward, thereby binding the horizontal movement of the rubber plates 18 and rigid plates 20, and a region where the laminated rubber 12 deforms by shearing is changed. Thus, the seismic isolation performance of the seismic isolation structure 10 is maintained constant with respect to the temperature change. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
