<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrant device which can be easily arranged in a checkup path in a road tunnel. <P>SOLUTION: In the hydrant device having a fire extinguishing hose with a nozzle at a distal end inside its housing, a hydrant valve unit incorporating a hydrant valve at a branching part from a water distribution main pipe arranged outside the housing is disposed. Further, the portion from a secondary side of the hydrant valve to the fire extinguishing hose is connected with a flexible piping material. In discharging water from the nozzle, the hydrant valve is opened to make fire extinguishing water flow into the piping member. Since the portion from the hydrant valve unit to the housing of the hydrant device is connected by the flexible piping member in which water is not filled, even the pipe arrangement work in addition to heat retaining work can be reduced, and the time required for the work of the arrangement and the renovation can be substantially shortened. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
