<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel position determining device capable of determining an acceleration-deceleration state of a vehicle, and also capable of determining a right-left position of a wheel, without using vehicle side speed information or the like, by using a uniaxial acceleration sensor. <P>SOLUTION: A tire sensor unit 3 has the uniaxial acceleration sensor 13 and an RF transmission circuit. A receiver unit has an RF receiving circuit for receiving a data signal transmitted from the respective tire sensor units 3 via a receiving antenna, and a receiver unit controller.
