<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic endoscope equipped with an ultrasonic probe to improve insertability into a body cavity by reducing a distal end rigid length. <P>SOLUTION: The ultrasonic endoscope has the ultrasonic probe 12 which is provided at the distal end side of a distal end hard section 2a that constitutes the distal end section out of a flexible tube section and a bend section and the distal end rigid portion 2a constituting an insertion section, and a treatment instrument outlet 24 which is a hole 27 used for treatment and formed in the distal end rigid portion 2a. The ultrasonic probe 12 is made up of ultrasonic vibrators 9 arranged in a convex, circular arc shape.
