<p>Through the present invention, it is possible to provide a high-speed image processing device in which there is no worsening of visibility in a punctiform structure or at an overlapping portion of two muscles in the process of removing a false image related to statistical noise. Specifically, according to this configuration, it is possible to provide a high-speed image processing device (1) whereby a high-visibility processed image (P4) can be outputted in accordance with the shape of the structure of a subject included in an original image (P0) in the process of removing a false image related to statistical noise. This noise band image generation unit (17) carries out image processing by superimposing a band image, an isotropic blur image (P1), and an anisotropic blur image (P2), while also altering the weighting on the basis of the edge reliability (E) at each pixel.
