<p>Through the present invention, it is possible to provide a high-speed image processing device in which there is no worsening of visibility in a punctiform structure or at an overlapping portion of two muscles in the process of removing a false image related to statistical noise. Specifically, according to this configuration, it is possible to provide a high-speed image processing device (1) whereby a high-visibility processed image (P4) can be outputted in accordance with the shape of the structure of a subject included in an original image (P0) in the process of removing a false image related to statistical noise. This noise band image generation unit (17) carries out image processing by superimposing a band image, an isotropic blur image (P1), and an anisotropic blur image (P2), while also altering the weighting on the basis of the edge reliability (E) at each pixel. According to this configuration, visibility in a punctiform structure or at an overlapping portion of two muscles does not worsen in processing for removing the false image in the original image (P0).</p> |
