<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively display advertisement on the basis of a plurality of pieces of image data extracted as image retrieval results. <P>SOLUTION: In a server 1 (advertisement display control device), retrieval result image data output according to image retrieval processing requests from a client terminal 2 is identified, an advertisement database where advertisement information and a plurality of feature quantities are associated with each other and stored is referred to, advertisement information associated with a feature quantity matching the feature quantity of retrieval result image data is retrieved, the retrieved advertisement information is determined as advertisement to be displayed together with the retrieval result image data, and the display position of advertisement is determined according to display mode of the retrieval result image data and is displayed on the client terminal 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
