<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle headlamp system devised not to give a sense of incompatibility to a driver by making a difference of colors inconspicuous even if a light distribution for a traveling beam is formed with two lamps for irradiating light forward with different colors. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle headlamp system, including a low-beam lamp unit 3 which forms a light distribution B3 for a low beam, and a main-beam lamp unit 4 whose beam has a color temperature different from that of the lamp unit 3 and forming a light distribution for the main-beam by simultaneously lighting the low-beam lamp unit 3, wherein switching between the light distribution B3 and the light distribution for the main-beam can be performed by turning-off and turning-on of the main-beam lamp unit 4, has an auxiliary lamp unit 5 for forming a light distribution B5 of a color temperature between a color temperature of the low-beam lamp unit 3 and a color temperature of the main-beam lamp unit 4 through superposition of a beam of the auxiliary lamp unit 5 on the light distributions B3, B4 formed by the lamp units 3, 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
