<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently identify browsing information intended by a user from among pieces of browsing information prepared in advance on the basis of intuitive keywords with a small number of characters. <P>SOLUTION: A client device 110 transmits to a server device 120 a character string that is input through an operation unit 140. A server device extracts one or more first candidate words that are words including the character string or words each having a synonymous relationship with the words, and the first candidate words being objects or predicates, extracts a second candidate word that has an object-predicate relationship with each of the first candidate words, associating the second candidate word with the first candidate word, and transmits to the client device one or more combinations of the first candidate words and the second candidate word. The client device displays the combinations, and transmits to the server device one combination selected in response to a selection input made by a user.
