A light-emitting device capable of suppressing variation in light emission properties of organic EL elements during manufacture of display devices by the nozzle printing method, and a method of manufacturing said light-emitting device are provided. This display device (21) comprises: a support substrate (11); a separating wall (20) comprising multiple separating wall members (17) that extend in a first direction on the support substrate (11); and multiple organic EL elements (22R, 22G, 22B) arranged at a prescribed interval in the first direction in each of multiple concave portions (18) defined by pairs of separating wall members (17) opposite in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction, wherein the concave portions (18) comprise multiple first concave portions (18A) which, from one end to the other end in the first direction, become narrower in the second direction, and multiple second concave portions (18B) which, from one end to the other end in the first direction, become broader in the second direction. |
