METHOD AND DEVICE FOR REALIZING PTN FUNCTION ON OTN PLATFORM

Provided are a method and device for realizing a PTN function on an OTN platform. The method includes: an OTN electrical cross-connection device receiving a first amount of service data; sending each data packet in the received first amount of service data to a second number of logic channels; dividing each data packet in each logic channel into a third number of services corresponding to each transmission path according to the transmission path of the service, and mapping each group of services into a matched rate level optical channel data unit ODU service; and mapping each group of ODU services onto each physical channel for processing according to the number of the physical channels thereof. Since the method in the present invention is based on an OTN electrical cross-connection device, the PTN function can be realized on an OTN device, thus making the networking manner simpler and improving the reliability of the device.
