CALIPER BRAKE APPARATUS

This caliper brake device is provided with: a caliper body that is supported on the vehicle body; brake shoes that advance and retreat from the caliper body and are capable of applying a frictional force by being in sliding contact with the disc; a pressing mechanism that presses the brake shoes onto the disc using the pressure of a working fluid; and adjustors that support the brake shoes on the caliper body. The adjustors are equipped with: an anchor pin, which is provided so as to be able to advance and retreat with respect to the caliper body and which supports a brake shoe on the caliper body; a return spring that energizes the brake shoe in the direction of separation from the disc; and a back pressure chamber that is defined on the back surface of the anchor pin and into which the working fluid is conducted.
