PURPOSE: A particle for insulating coating is provided to prevent electrical communication between neighboring electrodes and to connect the electrodes with high reliability. CONSTITUTION: A particle for insulating coating(1) has a core-shell structure with a core particle(1a) and a shell layer(1b). The core particle comprises an organic polymer. The shell layer comprises a silicon-based compound which has at least one unit selected from SiO4/2 unit, RSiO3/2 unit, and R2SiO2/2 unit, where R is a C1-4 alkyl group, C6-24 aromatic group, vinyl group, andγ-(meth)acryloxypropyl group.
