PURPOSE: A metallic collector body, manufacturing method thereof, and an electrochemical capacitor including the same are provided to increase the surface area of the collector body by forming a groove in a nanorod shape at the triplex crossing line of metallic material surface. CONSTITUTION: A metallic material(110) comprises a groove(130) formed along the triplex crossing line of surface. The groove formed on the metallic material has the depth of 0.5μm~1.0μm. An interval of the groove formed at the metallic material is1.0μm~3.0μm. A conductive layer(150) is formed at the metallic material. The conductive layer is formed with at least one conductive carbon kind selected from a group consisting of graphite, coke, activated charcoal and carbon black.
