<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound-insulating member which comprises a polycarbonate resin composition using a dihydroxy compound such as isosorbide as a raw material, is excellent in transparency, sound-insulating characteristics, surface hardness and mechanical strength, little changes of the transparency and hue, even when used outdoors for a long period, does not have the problem of mechanical strength deterioration, and is excellent in the long period durability and stability of optical characteristics and mechanical strength. <P>SOLUTION: The sound-insulating member is made by molding a polycarbonate resin composition comprising a polycarbonate resin containing structural units originated from a dihydroxy compound having a site represented by general formula (1) in one portion of the structure. The polycarbonate resin composition has a haze variation of ≤30 and a YI value variation of ≤10 before and after an irradiation treatment, when a molded article (thickness: 3 mm) made by molding the polycarbonate resin composition is irradiated with a sunshine carbon arc for 2,000 hours in conditions based on JIS B7753. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
