PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance resolution even if the number of electrodes for detecting touch is small.
SOLUTION: An electrode P2 and an upper adjacent electrode P3 are divided by an M-shaped boundary line 11b, and an upper portion of the electrode P2 is bitten between top portions in a lower portion of the electrode P3. The electrode P2 and a lower adjacent electrode P1 are divided by an M-shaped boundary line 11a, and a lower portion of the electrode P2 is bitten between top portions in an upper portion of the electrode P1. Thus, the electrode P2 is formed to overlap with the electrode P3 and the electrode P1 in a lateral direction. Accordingly, when a fender sensor Fd is touched with a finger 10, three electrodes P3, P4 and P5 are touched, and level signals according to the touch states are outputted from detection circuits 12a to 12f. A weighted mean value of the outputs is calculated in an arithmetic circuit 13 to obtain positional information about the touching finger 10 with high resolution.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
