<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly, simply and accurately detect enterotoxigenic Clostridium perfringens. <P>SOLUTION: A method for detecting Clostridium perfringens includes: designing a set of primer pairs to a target area included in an enterotoxin gene of the Clostridium perfringens, cpe gene and amplifying a gene product as a single-stranded nucleic acid using the set of primer pairs. Further, the method includes carrying out a nucleic acid chromatography using a first probe-bound labeled polymer carrier for hybridizing the amplified product in a sequence in the target area different from the set of primer pairs and an immobilized second probe-supporting development support. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
