摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a technique enabling appropriate determination of a recognition ratio of a group of features constituted by plural features in order to determine a recognition target in an image recognition process. <P>SOLUTION: A system includes: a recognition-requiring range acquisition part 27 for acquiring a recognition-requiring range that is set for each unit of recognizing feature as a range of performing an image recognition process; a recognition ratio determination part 26 for determining a recognition ratio for each unit of recognizing feature on the basis of a predicted recognition ratio ER predetermined for each category of feature; and a recognition target selection part 25 for selecting a unit of recognizing feature as a recognition target on the basis of a recognition ratio from among plural units of recognizing features with mutual overlapping recognition-requiring ranges. Further, for a specific unit of recognizing features constituted by a group of features distributedly disposed in a road width direction, the recognition ratio determination part 26 determines a recognition ratio on the basis of a predicted recognition ratio ER of remaining features constituting the aforementioned specific unit of recognizing features in a case where a part of plural features constituting the aforementioned specific unit of recognizing features is image-recognized in accordance with the image recognition result of each feature at each temporal point. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
