<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the load of a network. <P>SOLUTION: A VM 1 in an ES 1 transmits by broadcast an ARP request to obtain a layer-2 address for an IP1 which is a layer-3 address. The ES 1 extracts a MAC1 corresponding to the IP1 from an ARP_B to U table 102_ES1, converts a destination of the ARP request into the MAC1 from a broadcast address, and transmits the converted ARP request by unicast. If an ARP reply to the APR request transmitted by unicast is received, the ES 1 updates the ARP_B to U table 102_ES1 by the MAC1 included in the ARP reply and transmits the APR reply to the VM 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
