APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR FILTERING COOLING DUCT OF BATTERY FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLE

PURPOSE: A filtering device of a battery cooling duct is provided to block the inflow of indoor dusts into the battery cooling duct and to minimize the influence of cooling wind. CONSTITUTION: A filtering device of a battery cooling duct comprises a dust sensor(100) arranged in a cooling duct; filtering a variable filter(300) which is arranged in the cooling duct, filters a cooling wind, and is installed to open and close the cooling duct by a driving part(200); and a control part controls the driving part according to the temperature value of a battery and the sensing value of the dust sensor and the temperature value of the battery, opens absolutely the cooling duct when the dust is not sensed and partially opens or closes the cooling duct according to the sensing value of the dust sensor and the temperature value of the battery when the dust is sensed.
