<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exterior structure of a portable device that prevents gaps or level differences of a joint part within space saving, and a portable device including the exterior structure. <P>SOLUTION: A front cover 2 and a rear cover 3 of a digital camera are joined by being fitted with each other. At this time, surfaces 221a, 321a of joint parts 221, 321 of both covers 2, 3 are flush. A sheet 4 covers and is adhered to the surfaces 221a, 321a of both joint parts 221, 321 in their entirety.
