<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device that can make parallel light axes of light source elements and of a lens and easily arranging the light source elements and the lens at a prescribed distance, as well as a projector and a method for manufacturing of the light source device. <P>SOLUTION: The light source device includes light source elements each including a cylindrical flange part 71a and a cylinder parts 71b having a smaller-diameter cylindrical shape than the flange part 71a, a light source holder 82 arranged in contact with a rear part of each flange part 71a of the light source element, collimator lenses 73 for converting emission light from the light source elements into parallel light, a ring-shaped member which is arranged in an almost hollow cylindrical shape between the light source elements and the collimator lenses 73 and of which the rear end face 84a is in contact with the front face of the flange part 71a of each light source element and the front end face is in contact with the rear face of each collimator lens 73, and a collimator lens holder 79 for housing the collimator lenses 73 in hole parts 79d. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
