<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the convenience of a user who demands a temporarily suspended print job from being impaired, when interrupt-printing can be performed. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided an image forming apparatus which temporarily suspends a print job in operation, then, allows another print job to be interrupted as an interrupt print job and performs printing, and after ending the interrupt print job, restarts the temporarily suspended print job. A remaining sheet amount acquisition part 208 detects the remaining sheet amount to be used for printing, a sheet consumption calculation part 207 determines whether or not the remaining sheet amount is insufficient based on the first amount of use of consumable agents used for the interrupt print job and the second amount of use of consumable agents used for the temporarily suspended print job from the temporary suspension to the end of printing. When determining that the remaining amount of the consumable agents is insufficient, the sheet consumption calculation part displays a warning about the interrupt print job on the operation panel or the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
