<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crystal resonator which maintains a constant thickness of a sealing material, inhibits the variations of the joining strength, and improves the joining strength. <P>SOLUTION: A piezoelectric device 100 includes: a first plate 40 having a first surface M1 and a second surface M2 which is the opposite side of the first surface; and a second plate 10 having a third surface M5 and a fourth surface which is the opposite side of the third surface. The piezoelectric device 100 further includes an annular joining material LG which is annularly disposed between the second surface of the first plate and the third surface of the second plate and joins the first plate to the second plate; a protruding part 45 formed on at least one of the second surface and the third surface and having a predetermined height; and a groove 403 annularly formed at the inner side of the annular shape of the joining material on at least one of the second surface and the third surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
