<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IH cooking heater that efficiently transfers heat to foods. <P>SOLUTION: In the IH cooking heater, a heating chamber 112 includes: a door mounted on a front face; a rail unit for mounting the door so as to be slidable forward and backward; a food placing tray 108 stored inside the heating chamber 112; an upper heater 222 arranged above the food placing tray 108; and a lower heater 226 arranged below the food placing tray 108. In the heating chamber, a lower cover 183 is provided between the food placing tray 108 and the lower heater 226 so that the lower cover 183 covers the lower heater 226 with the planar surface thereof.
