<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas seal structure in a rotary kiln, which can certainly shut off leakage of an inner gas to the outside of the kiln. <P>SOLUTION: This gas seal structure of the rotary kiln suitably used for a Waelz kiln process, for example, is a seal structure wherein outside air is suitably introduced to a seal space formed between doubly provided slide parts by an outside air introduction mechanism introducing the outside air. The introduced outside air flows into a fixed hood part through a first slide part via the seal space to prevent the leakage of the inner gas to the outside of the kiln. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
