<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator rope feeding device which can easily feed a new rope, can be easily transported and can reduce a storage space. <P>SOLUTION: A main rope feeding device has a rack 1, a main shaft 2 provided at the rack 1, casters 3 provided at the rack 1 so as to be able to freely rotate, a rope supporting base 4 mounted on each of the casters 3, and a rope guide 5 provided on the rope supporting base 4. The rope supporting base 4 is guided by each of the casters 3 so as to rotate around the main shaft 2. Part of the rope guide 5 is arranged along a circle centered on the main shaft 2 and projects from an upper face of the rope supporting base 4.
