<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inter-unit connecting device capable of preventing forgetting to couple inter-unit connectors for a power supply or a signal circuit, and a ballot classifying device with the same. <P>SOLUTION: When a user insert fingers into the inside of a grip portion 33 to slide a connector slide member 10 in an arrow A direction along a back surface 22c of an additional unit 22, the slide member 7 slides in the arrow A direction, and an inter-unit connecting connector 5 projects out from a left side surface 22b of the additional unit 22, thereby coupling the inter-unit connecting connector 5 and an inter-unit connecting connector 6 provided on a base unit 21.
