<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extract necessary information during stop of operation of a printing part without generation of noise, and to prevent delay in operation of the printing part. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: a first printing-related information storage part 15 having a first storage medium from/in which information is read/write without accompanying physical movement, and storing/reading information on a printing part that performs the printing on the printing medium as printing-related information, in/from the first storage medium; a second printing-related information storage part 16 having a rotary-driven second storage medium, and storing and reading the printing-related information by rotary-driving the second storage medium; a storage control part 12 making the first printing-related information storage part 15 store the printing information stored in the second printing-related information storage part 16, when the image forming apparatus is powered on; and an extraction part 17 extracting the printing-related information from the first printing-related information storage part 15 when the acquisition of the printing-related information is requested. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
