The aim of the invention is to design an electronic device which allows the energy of incident photons to be measured easily and efficiently, within a very short period of time, at a very high counting rate and with great accuracy from current pulses emitted by an ionizing electromagnetic radiation detector. Said aim is achieved by using a controlled-loss switched-capacitor analog delay line (DL, DLD) at the output of the charge preamplifier (2).
