The blade has a connecting element (10) comprising a base part i.e. rider (16) for holding a base body i.e. rider, of the blade. An upper part i.e. rocker (14) is definable at a wiper arm of a windshield wiper system. The base part is rotatable opposite to the upper part around a bearing element (24) received in respective passage openings of the upper part and the base part. The bearing element is connected with the upper part or with the base part in a non-destructive releasable manner. Bearing parts i.e. plastic pins (26) or steel pins, are connected to each other by a pressing process. The bearing parts and the upper part are formed into the passage openings to exhibit a region from a weldable plastic material. An independent claim is also included for a connection assembly.
